Problems with Internet Explorer 7

Internet Explorer 7 includes security features which do not appear in earlier versions. One of these is the identification of login attempts using UserID and password details which are transmitted without encryption. The software appears to have a "bug" which despite warning about the security implications, prevents login even if the user is happy with this.

Logging in to the member area does not require the extreme security which, for example, would apply to online banking. Accepting unencrypted login for this purpose does not expose the user to any risks. The ability to login using IE7 may be restored by reducing the overall security level in IE7 from "medium-high" to "medium". This is done from Internet Explorer 7 in the following way:

Select: Tools - Internet Options - Security
Select: Internet Zone
Using the "slider" reduce the setting from "medium-high" (middle setting) to "medium" (bottom setting)
Click: OK

You should now be able to log in.
