M&LFHS Membership
Conditions of Membership
The Society is a Registered Charity under UK charity law and
operates under a constitution agreed by the UK
Charity Commissioners. A Code of Conduct operates
alongside the Constitution to define conduct which would be regarded as
unacceptable and which would invoke the disciplinary procedures (leading
possibly to termination of membership) defined in the Constitution. Personal
information about members is held in accordance with our
data protection policy.

| Joining M&LFHS could not be
simpler. You can join online or, if you prefer, mail in an application form.
If you are local to Manchester, you are very welcome to visit our resource
centre and join on the day. Whichever option you choose, your membership will commence immediately we receive your application and will run for 12 months. |
Renewal is due annually on
the anniversary of joining. Your membership card shows the month when your
membership expires. You can renew your membership in four ways:
