Only Society members may publish their interests on this database. Non-members are, however, very welcome to search the database to see if there are any interests which may connect with their own research and to contact the submitters. Please CLICK HERE to access the search page.
Publication
Interests entered via this system appear in the online index immediately and will be published in the next issue of the
Manchester Genealogist. Submitters should note that owing to the time required
to typeset the magazine, interests may not appear in the issue immediately after
the interests are entered.
Registration
Members are required to register with the system before interests may be
entered. This is to allow us to check that submissions come from Society members
only. Registering also allows members to access the system to delete or amend
interests and to change their e-mail address.
E-mail Addresses
Please note that e-mail addresses are held in a database so that they cannot be
accessed by web "crawlers" which harvest e-mail addresses for use by spam
mailers. Entering your e-mail address also allows anyone who sees your interests
on the web site to contact you directly (users do not get to see your address
until and unless you reply to them).
